Italian pipe makers had been producing masterful smoking pipes for decades by the time Enea Buzzi founded Brebbia Pipes in 1953. What got Buzzi's Brebbia on the map was how he was able to make pipes out of high quality materials for less than his competitors at the time.
When it came time to produce his own tobacco, it was determined that the company should use similar practices. Brebbia produced a wide variety of pipe tobacco, ranging in tastes and styles from Aromatics to heady English blends. With that variety, you should definitely be able to find a favorite here.
Although it might not have the following of better known tobacco blends, the Brebbia brand accepts nothing but the best. Just like the high quality briar they use for their smoking pipes, they want to have the highest quality tobacco from around the world. This meant taking the time to find some master tobacconists that understood the subtle differences between tobacco plants and how they worked together.
We offer five different blends by Brebbia for you to use, each carefully contained in a 50 gram tin.
Balkan by Brebbia is one of their highest rated tobaccos. It is a mixture of Oriental, dark fired Kentucky, Perique, and Latakia that allows for a great smoking experience.
Latakia Flake Number 9 gives you a mix of Virginia and Latakia pressed together. This is then aged to provide you with the best taste possible.
Quartetto Mix Number 22 provides a sweet Virginia mixed with dark and mild Black Cavendish. Made from medium sized leaves, you can pick up an excellent orange bouquet from this mix.
Opera Mix Number 32 is a great golden Virginia tobacco. Combined with a small amount of Black Cavendish and even less Burley, you will enjoy the Vanilla taste all day long.
Allegro Mix Number 24 offers you a fruity and savory tobacco experience. Blended from a great mixture of Virginia and Burley tobaccos, you will pick up notes of mango and vanilla to satisfy.
