a wee gem from one of my favorite makers, the Sun is a somewhat rare meerschaum-lined pipe, utilizing both high quality flame grain briar with a block meerschaum insert., while the stem accommodates a 9mm filter. The pipe smokes cool and dry as expe
meerschaum lined pipes are still a bit of a rarity after all these years, and I own such pipes that are more than half a century old. The briar overcomes the fragility problem and the meerschaum can't be burned out. anyone who has not tried such a pipe, should.
