Quiet Nights is not one of those night time tobacco blends that are so strong it will instantly put you out of commission. Instead this tobacco is a lovely symphony of components that make is a flavorful Balkan. The strength and flavor are kept in check. We suggest you order a tin for now, and a couple for a few years down the road--this is an incredible blend to age.

    It's In The Blend

Posted by Christopher on 7th Apr 2024

Mr.Pease did a pleasant job at this blend, it's not about how great or better this blend is or is not, it's in the blend the art of the mix of the types of tobacco used harmonize in a smooth mild but robust blend. I do taste the latakia but I also taste the perique dancing with the dark Virginia leaf and just enough orientals to bring it together with a hint of spice. This is not a heavy hitter in the nicotine department but a silky robust tobacco taste good for anytime of the day. Quiet night I enjoy best with coffee in the morning. Cigar smokers would also enjoy the maduro like sweetness this blend has to offer, Quiet Nights is a fine blend for what it is, latakia with a hint of perique spiced lights with orientals and the dark Virginia shines as a perfect base, Good Job Pease!!! Your blend gets a 4 star.

this stuff smells like a camp fire. I've never had dark fired tobacco but it's a lil gross and kinda tasty. the camp fire part kills it for me

    Good but leaves wanting.

I don’t understand the hype behind this blend when there are superior evening blends such and Peterson nightcap. It’s was okay at best.

G.L. Pease, Quiet Nights Pipe Tobacco

This, exceptional Balkan blend is ont Balkan blends the flavor and aroma. e that you stash in the Tobacco Cabinet to bring out for a special occasion and guest. it is no ordinary Balkan blend and should not be compared to others. rub it out well, pack it medium tight, light twice and enjoy.

    Quiet Nights pipe blend

Posted by Wayne on 29th Oct 2023

I've smoked this blend three times now. It's a very complex blend. Though others review it as rich and deep, my tastes tend toward quite richer blends, so I rate it as a somewhat mild blend by comparison. Nevertheless, it's very interesting and meets its contemplative rating. It's entirely without bite for me, and very pleasant to smoke. I find that a sip of bourbon brings out certain sour notes that are evident among the many other notes. Latakia pokes through quite noticeably and steals the show, which I find true of most blends that include Latakia. I have a feeling that Quiet Nights may grow on me in time, but I'm not yet entirely on board.
