Savinelli Alligator Blue 606B Tobacco Pipe

Beware of this pipe. The pipe is nice and smokes great however the blue will come off. It turned my hands blue.Now most if the blue has come off and leaves my hands clean. I like the pipe but the blue dye/ stain is unsat. I wonder if the red and green alligators have the same isdue?

I own pretty much exclusively Savinelli pipes. This blue alligator is my 1st in this series. I like the pipe,its shaoe,the way it smokes, the way it clinches but I do not like that the "blue" finish comes off and leaves my hand blue green with the dye. Therefore because of the coloration left on my hand I give it an average rating. If you don't mind it staining your it's a typical good smoking pipe.

For a midrange priced pipe, this one is really good!!! Really nice design and more importantly a really smooth smoker! Classy look & great smoke-pretty good combo I'd say?

Now I have three Savinelli Alligator products, two with a bend and one with a pronounced bend. Both styles are well balanced to the hold, smoke freely, do not overheat, and offer pleasant distractions from worries. A Very pleasant experience that I recommend to you.
