Black is the most popular tobacco blend offered by Sillem's, one of our favorite German tobacco brands. This is technically an aromatic, but the added Latakia gives it a small whisper of an english blend. This ribbon cut tobacco has a fruity casing added to the primarily Burley blend. With a mild/medium strength, this blend will suffice for the more full bodied smokers, but it tame enough to be enjoyed by the greenhorn.

Sillem’s Black
This is an exotic blend. Too much so to be enjoyed daily in my opinion but as an occasional “go to” for something out of the ordinary it is a nice departure from what you may be accustomed to. I will not be so presumptuous as to go into what it tastes like since everyone’s taste is subjective. Rather, I will simply say that if you like the idea of taking a different path now and again to break up your usual routine you might want to try this. It might be too much of a change for some for holidays or special occasions it is worth having in my collection.

Black Cavendish, Burley, Latakia, Virginia you can't go wrong with this blend, I love English blends and this one hits all the marks, hand's down this is by far the best aromatic English I have had. I highly recommend this blend.

Love it
This is a wonderfully elegant medium-bodied smoke. Very well balanced too - the topping is noticeable but gentle, allowing the tobaccos to really shine. The latakia rounds out the blend nicely and isn't really there in an 'in your face' sort of way. Great round taste and a satisfying amount of body,
