Sillem's Green Pipe Tobacco Tin - 100g

While the tin note carries a strong coconut and citrus scent, this doesn't translate much to the smoker. Surprisingly mild on the topped flavor once the flame hits it. The fire seems to burn off the coconut flavor quickly leaving you more with that general sweetness of glycol than a definite candy flavor. Out of the tin it needed only a few minutes on the tray before packing. Lights well and packs well. Deeper into the bowl once the topping has given way to the underlying tobacco you will find a quality blend. The usual suspects of Virginia, Burley and Cavendish found in many aromatics holds up once left to it's own devices. I found no bite at all throughout. I did hear some gurgling near the end of the bowl but not as much as other aromatics produce. Overall it's solidly average. The topping isn't overwhelming but also not memorable. While the blend itself is fine it doesn't stand out since most aromatics use a similar blend.

My first try and was looking for something different. Lots of smoke, good flavors and no tongue bite ! It’s not my go to but was a pleasant experience.

I've had the red and black blend but the green is the best out of the three in my opinion silems is a quality tobacco

Like the aroma, mild taste which was more coconut than expected. Slight hint of citrus.
