Smooth smoke
Nice VaPer blend that smokes well.

good blend
As a traditional Enthusiast, I prefer blends with little to no toppings or artificial flavors. Time and proper preparation of tobacco is for me always better than anything else. Sutliff does not have many blends I enjoy but 1849 is an exception. The blend will bite and sting if burned too fast but with the right cadence of puffs it can produce very nice flavors. I will leave the actual types of flavors to be explained by others and instead want to focus on the quality of having a bowl of this blend. The mid bowl is where I find toppings and flavors go bad. A burned candy chemical taste that one cannot avoid. But 1849 does well mid bowl, the flavors increase as the bite drops off. I recommend this blend for all Enthusiasts and for the newcomer looking for a blend that is a good introduction to tobaccos with less toppings and more satisfaction. Good work Sutliff!
