Aging Room Cigars have been decorated with remarkable praise given the brand’s brief, roughly decade-long existence. In fact, in this short time they have climbed the ranks to become the highest rated boutique cigar brand in the world.

Rafael Nodal is the mind behind the Aging Room brand, a part of his company Boutique Blends. Born in Camaguey, Cuba in 1964, Nodal would eventually come to America as a teen in 1980, arriving on a shrimp boat through the infamous Mariel Boatlift.

After living in the Bronx for a few years, Nodal, a talented violinist, moved to Miami in 1983 to study music.  However, other interests started to develop and he found himself drawn to the cigar world.

Small Batch M356 was the first blend to come out of Aging Room. In setting out to create cigars that  weren’t concerned with pleasing everyone, but instead take a focused concept and tenaciously pursue it, Nodal and his partners at Boutique Blends stumbled upon mass appeal like they never had before.  “Immediately at the release, everyone liked it,” Nodal says of M356. “People kept coming back and reordering it.”

Their next big hit was with Small Batch F55, which in 2013, landed at number 2 on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars. With this success and heightened brand awareness, Aging Room Cigars really took off. In 2019 however, came a stamp of legendary excellence. The new blend Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Maestro was named Cigar Aficionado's Cigar of the Year

This accolade is well deserved. This distinguished cigar is made by A.J. Fernandez in Nicaragua with all Nicaraguan tobaccos. It is a rich and smooth pleasure with a dynamic profile leaving nothing to be desired.

Try any of these great smokes for yourself and know what makes Aging Room an unrivaled cigar brand.
