Made predominantly of spicy and smoky dark-fired Kentucky with just enough sweet and tangy Virginia for ideal balance, Amphora Kentucky Blend delivers barbecue notes with earthy spices and a faint floral hint. The blend is pressed and sliced into flakes which are then tumbled out, so it's delivered to you as a broken flake which is both easy to prepare and will burn slowly.

Amphora Kentucky blend

Love this blend. Very flavorful and smoky, which is what I like. Be ready to clean your pipe and/or change filters often though. Blends well with the amphora Virginia

Surprisingly Good!

I’ve been trying a variety of dark fired Kentucky blends and I think this is every bit as smooth and flavorful as the higher priced tins. Amphora has hit the mark on this pouch tobacco. Ready from the start. No need to dry or rub.

Pleasant surprise

The small amount of bright Virginia is not detectable to my taste but clearly serves a purpose. It makes a great all day smoke. So far, I have re-ordered a couple of times. It's worth a try. Nice! But....

I very much enjoyed the cut, moisture and overall character of this tobacco. However, there is a very obvious raw sugar taste that I was not able to shake. I high quality tobacco, just not me taste. Try it yourself.

A good tobacco at a good price

Its good stuff but a a beginner piper , I find it strong. Either I will grow into it or use it as a condimental additive.
