The taste and aroma is marvelous.
If you like English blends you can drop this into your cart with eyes shut. Latakia is the star, with an excellent supporting cast. It does not bite the genteel sipper at all but will get a little irritable with a puffer.
I wish I could give it a 4.5 because 4 really is a little unfair. I reserve the 5 for perfection, and this falls short only in that it is generic English---it does not have a distinct signature that stands out from the pack. Hardly a crime in my book. I am going to buy it again, regularly.
This is one of the finest blends I've ever smoked. Latakia, medium, pleasant. If you like Latakia, this one is it.
Strong but smooth Latakia blend. Well balanced. Don't be afraid, join the dark side, we have Latakia.
Great blend, smooth and tasty.
One of the best English blends out there. The Syrian Latakia adds a nice mystique and complexity. This, along with Nat Sherman No. 536, is my favorite English blend. If you like English blends, this is a “must try”.
Very good tobacco as it lights and draws well. It has lots of flavor and strength. Not my favorite but very good.
This blend is a work of art. Like any good English, it has a bite yet at the same time it's also very smooth and inviting after a long day or first thing in the morning. This tobacco is a must have in your rotation for any time of day it does not disappoint!
I have heard people compare Artisan's Blend to Nightcap. Alas it is not, it is much better! Is it a true English? No, but why make every English the same. It stands on its own. And is one of my top 3 blends. Give it a try.
