From the mind of master pipe maker Jess Chonowitsch comes several blends of tobacco that we offer you. Blended for Chonowitsch by Kohlhase and Kopp, you will find that the quality pipe tobacco matches the quality of his pipes.
Some tobaccos are better in the morning, with a cup of coffee. Other tobaccos are more suited for nighttime, to relax with after a long day of work. These Chonowitsch tobaccos can be used any time of the day and are made with clear care in mind.
T 12 offers a combination of high end Virginia, steam cured Black Cavendish, and a small amount of Oriental tobaccos. With a typical Danish aroma, you will find this tobacco mild but with a very pleasant room note.
T 14 is a mixture of Burley, Golden Virginia, and Black Cavendish. This combines with a baked-in flavor of herbs and spices that provides a woodland aroma. Mild in strength, you get a pleasant room note from this blend.
T 15 is an amalgamation of many different tobaccos that manage to balance evenly. In this, you will find Matured Old Belt Virginia, Burley, Latakia, Oriental, and Natural Cavendish.
T 16 combines Latakia, Smyrna, and multiple Virginia tobaccos to make an interesting English blend. Matured for a long time, you will appreciate this tobacco's full body, which carries a classic fragrance and a mild taste.
T 17 is a Scottish mixture that is a flavorful, slow burning tobacco. It consists of a double broad cut of Light and Dark Virginias, Old Belt plug, Macedonia, and Latakia. These all work together for this medium bodied tobacco.
