F & K Merde de Cheval has as much whimsy from the tin as the name would suggest. It’s a blend of smoky Latakia and flue-cured Virginias that is light and well balanced. Give it a little drying time before you pack your pipe and enjoy this as a daily smoke.

F & K Merde De Cheval Pipe Tobacco Tin
I was very satisfied with this pipe tobacco, it has a great flavor & excellent room note. I highly recommend this pipe tobacco.

Wow, that's some good merde!
That's right, and I'll say it again, that's some good $h!t. Since I opened the tin I've not even reached for another of my open ones. I've enjoyed this for a few days out of several different sized and shaped pipes, it loves them all. Or they all love this. Either way its great. A wonderful balance of creamy, sweet and tangy that pleases the palate even long after the session is done. It's not as unique as say Early Morning Pipe, but it is well rounded and balanced, easy to go to again and again without the "need" to make a change in flavor. I will be ordering more. And thanks to tobaccopipes for prompt and excellent service.

great blend
I had known of this blend for a while but had not tried it. A sale at tobaccopipes.com gave me a chance to buy a tin. Lovely sour oriental top flavor that settles down into a savory spice and dances between the two extremes until the end of the bowl. I recommend!

A BIT STRANGE
NOT SURE ABOUT THIS BLEND. HAS A BIT OF SOURNESS, A GOOD BIT OF NICOTINE AND CAN FOUL UP THE BOTTOM OF THE BOWL. I'LL PASS.

Ignore the name
Don't be put off by the name, this is a good easy smoking tobacco. And if you have French speaking friends, the chances they will "bum a bowl" is lessened when they read the label.
