The 6mm Falcon pipe filters are made of wood cellulose. They work by absorbing condensation from the mouth, as well as tar and nicotine from the pipe bowl. These filters can be used in other 6mm tobacco pipes (like corn cobs and Savinelli pipes). Using one of these filters in the convertible systems produces a duel dry system, for the cleanest smoke possible.

Pipe filters
Ok no instructions and trust me you may need some. They do not fit my Falcon chrome bent pipe at all, but the way the filters are made it looks like you are getting 3 filters in 1 if you peel it apart but then they need trimming because they are too long. Lastly the filter makes it too hard to draw on, it's like a pinball through a regular straw. Wish I had my money back. Maybe Falcon makes another pipe they do fit. As good as the Falcon pipes are I'm perplexed with the fact of these filters not fitting. Worse thing last I bought 2 packs
