Falcon Chrome Standard Bent Tobacco Pipe Stem

Received this stem and an Apple profile bowl as a gift. Probably one of the best pipe experiences you could have, so there is a reason why they're so commonly out of stock everywhere and at this price you aren't finding a better pipe for $100+, much less the $50. You can really tell it's an engineers take on a pipe made by a pipe smoker. Zero tongue bite regardless of tobacco likely due to the aluminum body and spiral design of the stem. Smokes very well with no break in. The chefs kiss here is the filter system. With a Falcon, the ring filters can be made out of any pipe cleaner. The hidden expense of pipes are the damn filters; just expensive enough to notice, just cheap enough to not justify shipping, and likely impossible to source locally. Their designer must have felt this viscerally to cut them out of the equation. Stylistically it's striking. Likely larger than you think, the size of a normal pipe. The bent stem hangs off the lip well and the aluminum construction makes it light enough to leave there. Pics disassembled don't do the things justice.

wow! This is quite simply, the most enjoyable pipe that I have smoked out of this far. I don’t know what it is, but the meerschaum bowl combined with falcons humidome system and chrome stem makes for the coolest, most tasteful, most enjoyable smoking experience I have ever had! If I only could have three pipes for the rest of my life, they would all be Falcons! Absolutely outstanding in every way, I cannot recommend these very reasonably priced outstanding pipes enough!

I've wanted one of these for years. I guess maybe I forgot about them. Anyway stumbled up this site. Great selection of Pipes and tobacco. This Falcon smokes great. Easy to cleanup. Prices are good as well. Dont hesitate to get one. You'll be glad.

I also purchased the Apple smooth and Bulldog smooth bowls to go with this stem. Really the stem is well built and attaches snugly to the bowls that I purchased. Finish is good and the airflow threw the pipe is well regulated. The silver finish looks spectacular against the dark brown bowls. Right now the only issue that I can find is that while cleaning the pipe you can feel pipe cleaners scratching against the bottom of the metal tube. Since the tube is thin I worry that it could eventually rip through. Overall the shape of the stem fits well for reading and looks great while doing so.
