The same as my Grandfather
This is the same style of bowl my Grandfather used on his favorite Falcon Pipe. This bowl is well made and smokes well.

GREAT BEATER PIPE
I purchased two stems and four bowls; two Dovers, one Algiers, and a Billiard. The Billiard is perfect for flake tobacco and the Dover and Algiers handle everything else. The bowls aren't huge, as a matter of fact, neither is the entire pipe. This makes it a good take anywhere kit, or when time is scarce, a short smoke. True, they do need a little maint. between smokes, i.e. wiping out the humidome and replacing the dry ring, but all in all, a quick process. I use the round, cotton make-up wipes, available in cosmetics at WallyWorld. Just fold them in half and they are perfect for cleaning the dome, under the bowl. Also, I use the make-up wipes to clean inside all my briar bowls. It's a lot quicker and neater than folding a pipe cleaner, and they are cheap! The only problem I have incurred is that on both stems, the mouthpiece is twisted slightly clockwise. It's not a major problem, but makes the pipe sit slightly askew, if I clench. The mouthpieces are not removable so they can't be twisted back to straight. If you want a longer smoke, simply order a Hyperbole, or two. The best thing about TobaccoPipes.com is the experience. The staff and service is the best in the business. What few product issues I have encountered have been resolved quickly and professionally...that is something which can't be bought!

Falcon really works
I was a bit skeptical about Falcon pipes when I first saw them, but they really do deliver a nice cool smoke. The stem is sturdier than it looks in the pictures and seems to be well made. Priced reasonably , get a stem and a couple of bowls and you will get hooked on how cool this pipe smokes.
