Haddo's Delight is worth your time
A three-year-old tin was astonishingly delicious. It's strong but surprisingly smooth.

Very nice blend
I tried this for the first time this evening and I am quite pleased with it. The tin note is "date nut loaf", and a "dry pull" is much the same. The blend is well-balanced between the VA and Cavendish and the Perique with a subtle plum/date overtone. The tobacco lights and burns well all the way throughout. I would consider this a moderately full-bodied blend that makes a nice early evening smoke.

My delight
Tin note is something of vinegar but smokes like a fine pipe tobacco of the days gone by. Strong but pleasant, burns cool and flavor gets better at half bowl. Could smoke this all day.

Haddo’s Delight
Quality Virginias with a very noticeable tang from the perique, and a little cavendish to smooth it all over without adding any real sweetness to it. This is my all day every day go to smoke.

I find Haddo's very satisfying.
In pursuing my continued interest and expansion with Virginias, in all their possible combinations, I find Haddo's very satisfying. The flavoring, whether or not one exists, lends interest and a diverse dimension of aromas. There may be no flavoring as the tin indicates, but the tobacco combinations give that sort of enhancement. Maybe it's the Perique or the Cavendish or both; who knows. Many times I"ll smoke SG FVF wanting just a little more aroma than strength. This one delivers. Medium strength, no bite, light on the palate, and with a sublime delivery to the olfactory senses. I generally gravitate to flakes, not ribbon cut tobaccos. Haddo's delight
This doesn't do much for me. I had hoped it would be a welcome contrast to the full English mixture's I normally enjoy: Pease's Odyssey and Peretti's Midnight. But....it doesn't impress me. As Voltaire said: once, a philosopher; twice, a pervert.
