Not sure who Haddo is...
But I know what he is delighted with. This is such a great blend. Superior complexity and ultra-satisfying when you want a natural sweetness and journey of a plethora of flavors and palate feels. It's great out of the tin, but be patient as years on this blend make it a completely different animal. I was able to obtain some aged tins on eBay and the quality shines through. I would compare it to perhaps Esoterica Ramsgate.

Personal Favorite Blend
This is my personal favorite blend, it's dark, fruity, a little sweet and has a lot of perique spice. Full flavored with some potent nicotine. The Virginias give it a nice fruity sweetness that cooperates with the brandy/rum topping and the perique cuts through with a sharp pepperiness that intensifies as you smoke it down. I assume the black cavendish is there to round out the sweetness, but I can't pick out the burley. I'd let this blend dry for 10-15 minutes before you pack, otherwise it will gurgle a little. It lights and stays lit well, but it, like most Virginias, will get hot if you smoke it too quickly, so take it easy. Beware the nicotine on this one, it can catch you off guard. I can't wait to try this with some age on it, I bet it would only get better.
