Half & Half Pipe Tobacco

Excellent product; it has a mellow nutty flavor - nothing very dramatic. I recommend it to you, but don’t puff hardy. It’s meant to be a relaxing smoke, not one to smoke when you are irritated and have a tendency to puff to hard. Yet, maybe it would help calm you down. Don’t expect it to put you on all fours with a nicotine grenade. No complaints from critical family members about the room note. Family doesn’t care for Carter Hall’s room note: “...smells like burning leaves.” No such response to HalfnHalf. Enjoy.

Smooth , it reminds me of the pipe tobacco my Grandfather smoked.

I ordered the first time of this brand of half&half. Was very good and was amazing tobacco. But other times not good. This time is bad, if I did not open it I return. But unfortunately, I opened it. First time i ordered a bag of tobacco. But end time i ordered can. Very bad.

I've been smoking pipe for a long time and had many different tobacco's to smoke but half and half is always the best go to for a smooth experience. No tongue bite and good old fashion smoke. A great mixture. I really enjoy smoking it.

I just started smoking a pipe again. I'm 76 years old and have smoked pipes and cigars off and on over the years. I have always used the drug store OTC tobaccos so I remembered the Half & half brand from years ago. I like the room note, but the taste and finish leave me lacking. So I have been trying other blends that people recommend on youtube pipe blogs. I got some Presbyterian English blend to love the finish and also have some Seattle club plum pudding coming hope it's as good or better than recommendations.

Picked this up to try the classic good old-fashioned OTC Burley..it has a good Burley taste..nothing super spectacular..the "bright" in the label , I guess is the Virginia,this blend is simple,easy to smoke,cool burning and when slowly smoked,has an enjoyable,nutty flavor with something that is a little extra....a bit different than Carter Hall,which I like a little more for it's almost chocolaty taste..I see why this has been around for so long...it is good and just right for carrying in a pouch in your shirt pocket,always ready for a quick burly smoke as the notion comes along.,.Very good for sampling different tobacco types to flavor them all out.
