Good smoke all the way through. Burns well, best when not rushed, you get a mild bite if you do. Great aroma from beginning to end, and I get a sweet and fruity taste all the way through. Pleasantly surprised as I tried Harvest Moon first and wasn't too thrilled with it. All my bowls smoked on MM cobs. I would recommend this one and will probably buy more in the future.
This is very nice tobacco! You definitely taste the fruit and citrus and my mom even could smell the fruit. It's a must buy if that's what you like.
When I opened the tin and saw all that black tobacco I have to admit I was worried. It looked very moist and I pulled my plate out to let it stand a while. It wasn't needed at all. This is a very surprising pipe tobacco. A pleasingly mild smell and taste with NO bite at all. I had my first bowl out on the front porch and my neighbor came over to ask what it was. I told him it was "Hearth & Home..." He told me it was "Very nice". LOL Smooth, pleasant and not too hard to light and keep lit (after a minute or two). The bowl on my EWA Lady 801 Short Stem packed easily all the way to the top. Then smoked all the way down without a noticeable moisture buildup. I'll be purchasing this on a regular basis now. (I should have ordered 2)
This is an aromatic for people who are sick of syrupy, cloying aromatics. It's got a natural and clean raspberry flavor that's not too much and doesn't get weird when it heats up. With a touch of nicotine that's a bit higher than most aros. This and Newminster Blackberry Brandy are my favs now -- aromatics for adults.
Great aroma per the wife. Bold but not harsh flavor. Burns even with few relights right out of the tin. Will definitely buy more.
