This is the second series of smoking pipes named after a pirate, and Jolly Roger pipes decided it was time for John Rackham to be respected once again.
John Rackham, better known as "Calico Jack," was a notable English pirate captain who patrolled the Cuban and Bahamian coasts during the early 18th century. Although he only sailed as a pirate for a few years, his influence and notoriety keep him remembered to this day.
One of Calico Jack's claims to fame is his association with two famous female pirates, Anne Bonny and Mary Read. Bonny and Read were two of the most infamous pirates in history, notably due to how few women sailed as pirates, especially during their era.
Another of Calico Jack's long-lasting acts of fame is his pirate flag. A skull and crossed swords on a black sail, this flag became well known thanks to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film series, where it was displayed as the flag of the main ship, the Black Pearl.
Calico Jack's flag is also used in sports. The logo of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL use it, with some minor alterations, and display it on their helmets and as their primary logo.
We offer two different finishes for the Rackham tobacco pipes. You can select between the smooth black finish or a smooth, rich brown contrast. Not only that, but each pipe comes with two different acrylic stems, one black and the other white. Both stems feature the Jolly Roger logo on them, so there will be no doubt which pipes they belong to when they are not being used.
The freehand shape of Jolly Roger Rackham tobacco pipes is attractive and fits very nicely in the palm of your hand. This pipe is packaged in a premium metal box.
