This gift set from Missouri Meerschaum was inspired by the year 1776, perhaps the most important year in the history of America. This gift set includes one straight Patriot tobacco pipe and one bent General cob. This combination is a great set and reduces the cost of each individual pipe. Long smokers!

    Posted by j. d. on 31st May 2018

These pipes are pretty big! they are very good looking, and the Patriot smokes wonderfully, I only fill it half way with Prince Albert and I have yet to make it to the bottom to char the stem! I think it is perfectly wide for that brand. I love the finish and the shape while strange initially grew on me and I like it a lot! the reason for the one missing star is that there were some bits on the mouthpiece tip that are a bit unfinished, but it isn't really a detractor, especially for the price. the bigger pipe is HUGE. was hoping to be able to with between stems to find out which I like better, but the big one allows a filter and thus is a wider fit than the patriot. I am considering cutting own my big one and trying to make a third pipe out of the top, I really think the larger bowl will allow cigar tobacco to burn better, but having yet to fully smoke a whole patriot (probably a 30-45 min smoke with the prince) i have not tried it at all yet. by the way, the patriot, or more accurately the corncob pipe was probably the best smoke of my life, tastes great, looks great, is solid and cheap. I will never buy a different brand again.
