We highly doubt that there has ever been a tobacco pipe sold more frequently than the Missouri Meerschaum cob. This edition is the extra large bowled country gentlemen. a gentle dark coat of gloss covers the outside of this pipe, making it a bit more attractive. To be honest, this bent pipe is perfect for smoking just about any style of pipe tobacco.

    Great Pipe Especially for Beginners

Posted by MICHAEL FRENCH, BSN, RN on 2nd Jul 2019

I’ve been smoking a pipe for about 8 months and this is my first cob pipe. First, this thing has a big bowl. Second, cob pipes are inexpensive. This makes it great for beginners. But I will say, for some reason, it lets you taste all of the flavors of the different tobaccos you smoke. For example, I’m smoking some C&D Haunted Bookshop and the cob pipe enhances the burly and the Perique in it. I’m going to order a couple more cob pipes, if for no other reason because they are inexpensive. Oh, and thanks to TobaccoPipes.com for putting mine in a pipe sock with your logo! Love you guys!

    The Country Gentleman

A spectacular pipe! A very generous bowl size and the pipe size overall is excellent, fitting comfortably in the hand. The larger bowl size makes it the perfect pipe to accompany a good book for a nice long relaxing smoke! If you’re on the fence about adding this one to your collection, do it! You will not be disappointed! It has quickly become my go-to pipe in the afternoon as the day winds down!

    Great pipe

Posted by Stokesdale on 26th Jan 2018

This is the first time I've tried a cob, this cob in particular; I've put about a dozen bowls through it so far. My go to pipes are all Savinelli's which (I believe) are the nicest smoking pipes around. That said, so far, this pipe smokes as nicely as they do, but differently if that makes any sense. The draw on this pipe is different, but not in a bad way. So, even though they smoke differently, they are both equal in quality of smoke, if that makes any sense...and this pipe is over $100 cheaper!

    Simple Nobility

Of all of the great pipes in my nice collection, from A>Z, this little beauty holds more tobacco, smokes cooler, is lighter, and more sturdy than the finest Mediterranean Briar-wood's out there! I'll take this little gem over them ANY day...
