NOTE: The idea behind the Morgan Bones pipe is to offer an honest, affordable pipe that prioritizes function over all else. Truly the “bare bones” briar pipe. You should expect a Morgan Bones pipe to have some cosmetic flaws that will not diminish the pipe’s smokability.

    perfect for travel

Posted by Todd Brogowski on 6th Mar 2023

I got this pipe as I love woodworking and seeing the natural finish I knew the wood's character would show up better than with a varnish. That definitely turned out to be true. The pipe looks as though it was carved from driftwood, with small pits that add to its character. The pipe is 1.25 in. by 5.25 in., which is perfect for slipping into the base of my tobacco pouch. The bowl has an interior diameter of 0.75 in., which is small and means a shorter smoke. However, when traveling, that's what you want. So far I'm pretty happy with the little guy.

    Quick Smoke

Posted by Jason Young on 12th Dec 2022

If you need a 30 minute smoke, this pipe delivers. This one came with a pre carbon cake and breaks in fast. In addition my hand tends to be oily and the pipe darkened quickly. The number of cracks in the briar is a bit concerning, but if you don’t burn hot you shouldn’t get a burn through.
