Update to original review
This blend has really grown on me. It's proof that you shouldn't review any tobacco until you smoke several bowls at least. You can taste the Brandy slightly but you can definitely taste the Blackberry all the way through room note and jar note hit you in the face of Blackberry. Burns well and cool if sipped slowly. Nice and smokey. You get good ash from it. No bite no nic hit. I would give it a 4.5 if it was an option. From not liking it at first, it is now a keeper for me.

I just started my pipe smoking journey, I thought this tobacco would be a great starter. I'm either smoking it wrong or it's not as good as I thought it would be. Room note is nice, although it's harder for me to tell as I smoke outside. It burns well, I only had to relight a few times, probably my fault. Tastewise it's flat for me. I don't get much flavor. It tastes like a cheap backwoods cigar, maybe not even as good. I taste Burley, not much flavor. I won't be buying any more of it for a while. I want to continue practicing smoking with it, I'm not getting much tongue bite which is good. So I'll finish this tin, practice my breathing method and how to pack a pipe properly. Again I just started smoking a pipe so take my opinion for what it's worth.

Newminister blackberry brandy
This blend gets 5 stars, two thumbs, and 10 toes. I grew up in the deep South walking dirt roads on summer days and eating blackberries as I went. This blend goes beyond blackberries into a blend of tobacco that will relax not only you but the people who have the pleasure of being in your presence.

Most of us have seen the commercial that says good to the last drop. Well, this is good to the last draw. If you like a fruit blend here it is. My son says the yard smells like fruity pebbles when I smoke. Not for everyone just the people who enjoy a great fruit blend. Hey t.p., send some quicker. I know you will. Light it up and enjoy.
