Nording Eriksen Keystone Black Stem Black Grain Bowl Tobacco Pipe

Am very pleased with my Nording Erickson pipe. I’m impressed that an affordable pipe can still be found, and the filter system provides a cool, clean smoke. I like the Danish Modern design and get compliments often. Good price and quality!

Have to admit that I purchased this with trepidation. I have been pleasantly surprised. I mainly use this for my stronger aromatics. The ease of cleaning and the keystones allow a clean and cool smoke and each blend gets its own audience. The design is well thought out and although it isn't going to win any beauty pageants, it's utility wins the day. It is a neat and welcome addition to my pipe family.

It took a while to burn right. Tobacco tastes pretty good and is on the cool side. Holding it is hot because it has thin walls on the bowl. If the bowl was thicker, it would be an extremely enjoyable pipe.

This pipe smokes fantastic. You couldn't find a better pipe for the price. It does require some touch up with fine sand paper, and a file to smooth out the bit, but for the price, that is easily overlooked. It is sturdy, and great for working, fishing, or other outdoor activities. The price, and smokability of this pipe is the reason I think it deserves five stars.

If you're looking for a great looking pipe to sport about town, this is not the pipe for you. However, if you're looking for a pipe that's easy to smoke, and will take some abuse, this is a great pipe. Smokes nicely, easy to clench, and doesn't require a lot of pampering.
