Denmark, home of Nording Pipes, was once a traditional home of Viking warriors. Nording pays tribute to its nation's history with many of its pipes, perhaps most of all with the Valhalla series.
Valhalla was an important aspect of Viking lore. The direct translation is "the hall of the fallen," and it is where the Norse God Odin housed the worthy dead. These worthy were warriors who fell in combat, performing great deeds. It was Odin's decision as to who would earn entrance, and he sent the Valkyries to collect the fallen warriors.
In the halls of Valhalla, life was "perfect" for Viking warriors. They would spend all day fighting and training. At the end of the day, their wounds would heal, and they would feast on mead and meat. These dinners would be known for their legendary quality, with the Valkyries serving as cupbearers.
