There has been many disagreements as to whether or not this blend actually contains Perique tobacco. In our opinion, there is no reason for Orlik to omit the Perique. And besides, we can taste the Perique. Golden Sliced tobacco is a perfect flake cut tobacco and carries a delicious hay flavor. This tin is available in both 50 and 100 gram tins.

Virginia at it best...
This a very 'fine' and 'subtle' tobacco blend. Rubbed out it burns best, in my humble opinion, and if smoked leisurely it will *not* get hot or bite, and if kept gently tamped in the bowl after about 1/4 down the sweet hay field smell and taste will start to show itself and you'll suddenly find yourself wanting to lay back in that hay field barefoot and lower your straw hat over your eyes and just enjoy the bowl. Imagine a Tom Sawyer moment but painted by Norman Rockwell...*that* is the subtle sweetness and flavor that comes to mind with this blend.

I love this tobacco. I have known it for three decades. Furthermore, the tins made for the US market are more attractive than the ones made for the domestic Danish market. The US version has an entirely red top, no ugly warnings. I will be back. Peter

A little strange not what I expected in a flake. Sort of a rope bundle. Actually easy to work with. Fold and stuff or rubbed out. Delicious tobacco with natural sweetness from Virginia. Smoke cool if you don't suck it like your drinking a milkshake. An excellent break from my Solani ABF. The only tobacco I give a five-star rating. Highly recommend. Semper Fi Mike

Fantastic tobacco. I am basically a Burley lover but for a change of pace, this really hits the spot. Sip only though. I can get a bit bitty if you smoke too hard. I smoke too hard. I know I know but there is plenty of flavors so no need to puff too hard. I highly recommend. Semper Fi MIke
