Peter Klein Pipes
Peter Klein began his illustrious woodworking career as a traditional wood carver in Essen. Even though he experienced success, he decided to transition to a smaller yield profession pipe-carving. When he began carving in 1988 he had supplemental income, but when the school he taught at shut down in 2008, the Klein family moved from Germany to Denmark so that Peter could be closer to the pipe carvers he so closely admired.
Now Peter is a one of the most respected pipe carvers in the world. His pipes are graded as follows: D, C, B, A, AA, Orca (from least to most valuable). The bottom two tiers are generally sandblasted pipes while the rest are smooth. Peter is known for his incorporation of horn and sterling silver into many of his pipes. Genuine Klein pipes are stamped "Peter Klein" on the shank. Order one of our Peter Klein tobacco pipes today!
