Early Morning Pipe by Peterson is considered a standard of measure for what a light English blend should be by a large number of experienced pipers. The flavor is sour, sweet, and tangy more than smoky. Because of the balance of the constituent tobaccos, the smoker is able to discern subtle flavors.

This is the one. Aromatic smoke is great but I wanted satisfaction a cigar brings without the drama. Very mild In temperament but very satisfying. I’ve since come to love Peterson Elizabethan, 965 blend, etc, but this is my golden standard.
I just enjoyed my first ever bowl of Early Morning Pipe Tobacco in my new Missouri Meerschaum St. Patrick’s Day Pipe with a cup o coffee as recommended by so many from the YTPC. It is a smooth blend that can start or end anyone's day off right. So glad it’s back.
This is one of the few English blends I smoke. I have it enjoyed every time I've smoked it. Great morning smoke and great with a good cup of coffee.
Morning, Noon, and Nite, best English blend with no bite or aftertaste. I've been smoking pipes for over 30 years and this one really stands on its own against all others.
In my opinion, it's not a bad tobacco, but it didn't live up to the hype. Nice flavor but not as smooth and mellow as I had imagined.
Great smoke, stayed lit and smoked to ash in the base of the pipe. I enjoyed the smell and the taste. This is a great all day smoker.
Dunhill EMP is the best pipe tobacco that there is.
My first experience with this blend, mild for an English blend with a pleasing taste experience. Normally I do not favor most English blends but I will be placing another bulk order.
Been going through the Dunhill blends and it's pretty consistent with the others. While as a new pipe smoker it comes across a little strong it is good and worth a try.
