A good rich and relaxing aroma after a good days work.
A great old time tobacco. Has a great taste and smell and burns at a good pace, not too fast. I will buy it again. it is hard to find pipe tobacco in my area.
Burns good, tastes good, good aroma. An all around great tobacco.
Enough vanilla to enjoy but not so much that you forget your smoking quality tobacco. Highly recommend.
This tobacco is much better for me than regular, as there is black cavendish. There is a possibility that I will buy more.
Prince Albert Soft Vanilla was not something I was going to try anytime soon. Then one day a long-time co-worker and I found out we both smoked pipes. Jeez, you think you know a guy and he drops a bombshell like that on ya! Anyway, he recommended this and said that his go-to smoke was to blend this 50/50 with regular Prince Albert. I had plenty of PA, so I ordered the Soft Vanilla to give his blend a try. Now, Prince Albert is so soft and easy to smoke, I can't imagine what led him to mix these two together, but he was right... it is a tasty blend for sure. The tobacco itself seems very similar to regular PA, so the differences must be in a topping. I did try the Soft Vanilla all by itself too. It's not overly moist. The flavoring is not overdone. Fans of light aromatics would probably find nothing wrong with Soft Vanilla in the least. It reminded me, oddly enough, of Lane 1Q and since they're both are vanilla-flavored Cavendishes, that makes some sense. I'm already a fan of Captain Black Royal and probably wouldn't switch for something so similar, but, depending on what's in stock, I now have another option if the need arises. Just like Prince Albert regular, this packs, lights, and smokes so easily if it sounds good to you, you'll probably enjoy it. It's definitely worth a try.
Couldn't have a better name. An enjoyable English tobacco with just a hint of vanilla that lingers in the smoke, making it immediately identifiable.
