Savinelli Alligator Blue 311
Great pipe, rated it at a four simply because this is only my second pipe that I'm smoking. It may very well be a five. The design is a five! Easy to hold, and I like the balsa wedge in the stem, it smokes very well. The deep bowl hold a light well and will smoke a longer duration due to the depth of the bowl when filled close to top of the bowl. I would recommend this pipe to a beginner as well as long time pipe smokers.

This is my second favorite pipe next to my Bianca 310 KS. This pipe has a great feel in the hands and sits well. It will tip with a rubber bit on but... still sits upright.

Blue Savinelli Alligator 311 review. The Alligator finish comes from the combination of a rusticated finish with random smooth spots. Apart from giving it a totally unique and pleasing appearance, the alligator finish makes it an extremely comfortable pipe to hold. The feature I like the most is that it stands up when you set it down, no more ashes all over the table. As to the construction specs, such as draft hole placement, stem fit, finish, and overall quality, they are all excellent........ it's a Savinelli .
