Smooth smoking chill pipe
This is the second Savinelli 601 churchwarden that I own and honestly, I like this one much more than the other... My other one is the rusticated black, and it's nice too so don't get me wrong, but I definitely like the smooth finish on this one better! I personally love briar wood pipes... The wood grains come alive with the smooth oiled finish imo and "pop" in the sunlight! It's beautiful! I can't say why exactly, but another bonus is that this pipe smokes A LOT drier and stays much cooler (to the touch while smoking it) than the other one I have... It's easier to hold on to as well. I particularly like the "chill" factor to churchwarden pipes and both have been great to just kick back in a chair (or river bank), puff on and relax with. I'm very satisfied and pleased with my purchase and I'm sure this pipe will be in my steady rotation for years to come!

Very nice pipe. Bowl was bigger than i expected, I guess I did not pay attention to description. Not that the bowl size is a bad thing. Smokes great. Very fast delivery.
