Great Design & Functionality
The design is beautiful in its simplicity and appearance. The short, stubby size is a nice contrast to my traditional designs with an attractive burl bowl and matching stem. The bamboo filters reduce tongue pipe while remaining easy to draw and stay lit. The only downsides, consequently the 4 stars rather than 5, are the thickness of the stem which makes it more tiring to hold in the mouth and the stem thickness which doesn’t fit my pipe rack. Those features are not deal breakers though... this has become my favorite pipe.

Savinelli Dolomiti 320
The pipe itself smokes great. Great draw and perfectly drilled. Really like the size and feel. The only reason for 3 stars was the finish on the briar. The briar is of great quality but the finish is sub-par. 50% or more of the bowl hasn't been polished while the other half shines brightly. I bought this pipe in a smooth finish because I really love to see the grain highly polished. Had I known this ahead of time I would have just purchased a rusticated version. Again the pipe works great just sub-par on the finish. I expected more from Savinelli.
