SPC brand pipe tobaccos have been the equivalent of trending in the pipe tobacco community. As soon as the first blends were released in micro batch form in 2007, the club has experienced the snowball effect of popularity. Arguably their most delicious and popular blend is the Plum Pudding. This is a strong mixture of five different tobaccos, but seems to be one of the silkiest textured tobaccos out there. People are going crazy over this blend. Order your new tin today!

Wonderful English Flake. Deep and Rich. Not quite the special reserve, but excellent.
Creamy, great mouthfeel, with a deep long lasting flavor in my mouth. I keep it slightly humidified and then rub out and let it air dry for a little while before filling the bowl and firing it up.
Just recently got into smoking a pipe, so I’m not sure my opinion counts for much haha, but this blend is absolutely amazing! All across the board just great. The moisture was perfect when I opened the tin and rubbed out easily and smoked like a dream. The smell was intoxicating, like a barnyard mixed with fennel and very subtle dark chocolate aromas. 10/10
Side note: The customer service of this humble company is out of this world! I had mentioned during checkout that I was new to the hobby, and they sent a bunch of cool stuff I needed to get started as well as three more blends to try out. These guys have got my business for the rest of forever, ON GOD!
Defiantly good to have in the rotation. Reminiscent of bbq. Needs to dry out first.
Plum pudding is my all day smoke and I highly recommend this blend. It’s everything you want in pipe tobacco and the flavor is like nothing else. I’ve tried. This blend is the perfection of flavor and I have yet to find anything compatible. If you like Latakia in Your tobacco without being a complete lat bomb this is the blend for you. It is like nothing else I’ve smoked before. Try it I promise you’ll like it.
Great texture on this case. It crumbles and rubs out nicely. It packs very well and lights without issue.
The flavor is superb. It's similar, in my tastebud mind, to Bengal Slices but not the same. It seems to have a little more smokiness to it. it's really delicious and smokes cool, which says something because I am not a disciplined smoker... I chug a pipe a choo-choo train.
Very few relights and I get down to a fine ash with very little dottle.
Flavor seems to open up as you work through the bowl, kind of a crescendo.
Anyway, this is a beautiful tobacco and I will be stocking up.
A classy smoke, through and through. A complex flavor, with a sweet aftertaste. Smooth and cool burning. It will occupy a top spot in my rotation.
I bought a tin of this to see what the fuss was about. I have dipped Copenhagen Smokeless tobacco for 38 years and quit by switching to pipes. Captain Earle’s 10 Russians are the standard by which I measure all other blends. C&D’s Pirate Kake is a close second, but Plum Pudding is a huge disappointment to me.
Really trusty good smoke. Easy to enjoy. You can just chooch away on this stuff with very little bite. Big balanced flavor. Thick white smoke. Complex and compelling and those big thick cakey slices. I almost wanna eat it.
