This is a great evening smoke with just the right amount of Latakia to put your mind on seeing minarets in the distance. The plug breaks apart easily for filling your bowl and usually stays lit for the entire bowl. Definitely a keeper.
This was recommended to me by a friend, and I have to say it is better than he described. Great complex tastes and smells. Well worth the couple extra bucks.
It is a very nice smoke, tasty and smooth. It is not obvious to me that the 'Special Reserve' represents a premium over the regular PP. I am not likely to buy it again at full price. Plum Pudding is one of my favorites, but I've not been blown away by the Special Reserve.
This is a phenomenal blend, quite possibly the best I've ever smoked. It's neck and neck between this and my beloved White Knight for my favorite tobacco I've had.
Perhaps the most complex blend on the planet, PP is strong enough to the taste, slow burning and full-bodied. Grand for those evenings when one gathers his thoughts and concentrates on things, yet mild enough to see a man through the day. PP is the product of a magisterial blender and one of the most sophisticated mixtures to be found anywhere. Try it, you'll want more.
First time trying this tobacco and I must say it is very smooth and very tasty! I’m quite the newbie but have developed a liking for English and Balkan blends like EMP, Gaslight and now this one. It lacks the full flavor of the two previously mentioned but possesses a less harsh characteristic as well. In fact, there is no harshness whatsoever and I’ve tried smoking fast, but no hint of tongue bite. Great flavor and rich taste. Well worth the money spent!
Mild, pleasant taste, flowery aroma. Stays moist. Slow, smooth smoke.
This is outstanding. It has a sweet richness that does not overpower. The smoky latakia comes through in waves, as well as the Perique and orientals. This is my new favorite tobacco.
