Sutliff 400669 Black Vanilla Cavendish Pipe Tobacco

Moist and smooth with incredible flavor.

After a twenty year break from my pipes, I was lucky to find the perfect match for what I smoked back then. I love it, cool burning and tastes great!

I'm not giving this blend a fair shake because I can't help comparing it to my beloved Lane Vanilla Black Cavendish with is no longer available (I told my wife that just when I start to liking something it isn't around anymore and she replied that she noticed that when I start to disliking something it isn't around anymore also).. With that said it is a good tobacco on its own, smooth and tasty - just not as smooth and tasty as Lane VBC. In a few years when my stash of Lane VBC is gone I will probably amend the 3 stars to 4 or even 5. Don't let me discourage you this is a good black cav.

I am not a novice smoker but aromatics will always be my choice. And this is one of my favorites. Great smooth taste, room note and clouds of swirling smoke. Zero bite. On the airy side, which I like in the mornings but then I move to something a little stronger as the day goes on. Some drying time is needed.

This is one of my favorite Vanilla Black Cavendish Tobacco’s out there. Smooth extremely mild Black Cavendish with a Vanilla topping. Very relaxing smoke, most enjoyable.
