Crinkle Flake
Love this tobacco. Great combo of fruit and baking spices. Bought 3 tins and getting more. Been smoking it every day during work hours. Think I’ll buy a few for home also

Boring now but may be better after ageing.
There isn't anything special about this blend. Very little taste, moderate aroma, forgetful. However, I had a similar review for last year's Cringle Flake. I aged it for a year and am blown away by it. So buy it with the intention of ageing.

So dry :(
Tin note was very faint note of cigarettes but had to strain to smell even that. No real need to rub the tobacco to prepare it as it disintegrated in my hand. As soon as I did my false light tiny burning embers started showering out of the top of the bowl with absolutely no wind... Quality control on moisture from reading other reviews from soppy wet to moon dust. My only quandary is if I should open the 2nd tin hoping for a very wet tin, and cellar them all together hoping to salvage this one flavor/moisture. I was so much looking forward to the release of this and after all the buildup in anticipation I am utterly disappointed.

Sutliff Cringle Flake 2023
I anxiously await this blend's release every year and this year's is no disappointment. It's my favorite evening smoke through the holiday season.

Yuck
The can was well sealed when I received it but the contents were dusty dry. It had a strong sour vinegar smell when I opened the can. It burns pretty fast and the smoke doesn’t smell or taste very good. I can appreciate tobacco usually even if the flavor isn’t my “cup of tea” but I’m shocked Sutliff produced this stuff. It’s not been cured and handled properly obviously.

Excellent
This is an awesome addition to the Cringle Flake series. Tons of dark fruit along with a unique citrus flavor at the end. Good amount of strength. A very unique pleasure to smoke!

Meh
The tin note made me believe they just soaked everything in white vinegar in hopes to cover up crappy quality leaf. The katerini was applied too heavily for my taste as I found it too distracting. Meh. Maybe some age will round it out. 2.5 stars rounded up to 3.

Not what I expected
Heavy, heavy perique, not as much taste as I was expecting, heavy nicotine. I gave it three stars because some people like that in their pipe.
