VaPer deliciousness
It took my taste some time to evolve and understand the nuances of Perique, usually preferring the smoky and prominent flavors of English blends. This VaPer Crumble Kake is savory and lightly spicy, from the Perique, and lightly sweet from the Virginia. It is mouthwateringly delicious like a filet mignon. The consistency of the Kake requires minimal rubbing. It crumbles as the name indicates, and it is perfect.

This blend took up the the top spot on my VaPer list! Sweet and tangy up front with a nice kick at the end. The Perique is there and definitely playing a part but it isn’t outshining the Virginia! It holds a strong place in my rotation!

Nice Va-per
OK, I've now tried the 3 new Sutliff Crumble Kakes, Red Virginia, English #1 and the Va-Per. I love all 3 of these with the Red VA being my FAV. All are easy to smoke and flavorful. The VA-Per has just enough Perique to keep it interesting without overpowering the blend. Try them, you won't be sorry. The only downside is that the tin only holds 1.5 ounces. No need to dry these out, they all smoke, and rub out perfectly right out of the tin.
