Vauen fans love the activated carbon filters and the modern style of the German aesthetic. We see that in abundance here. What we also see, that’s maybe a little less talked about, is Vauen’s tendency towards dramatic slants and odd angles regarding bowl rims. This makes for a nice display, but can sometimes be frustrating when you singe the edge while lighting. Lucky for you, with this jet black matte finish no one will ever know. And the wide, angled rim is particularly spectacular with Vauen’s interpretation of an Egg shape.

Olaf 1871
This was my first Vauen pipe as I usually smoke Peterson or Rattray - both fine pipes - and I was so impressed with the fit, finish and way it smokes I immediately ordered another. Fits in my hand perfectly and I use charcoal activated 9mm filters - it’s a joy and well worth the money.
