Vauen adapter - 9mm
Fits perfectly in both of my pipes with 9mm tenons, sealing with a single rubber (silicon?) gasket. Well made and easy to shorten, if necessary. Only reason I didn't give it five stars (i.e., best) rating is because I haven't tried other adapters, so can't honestly say this the "best", though it might be.

Works Great
This adapter does a fine job in Vauen pipes. I was surprised at how much the draft was improved during use. While I use filters too, I do like the adapter, especially during the hot, humid months of summer when filters tend to get damp too quickly. This solves the problem and delivers a quality smoke. The fit is very tight. The insert may only be inserted into the shank one way to insure the seal. Highly recommend.

They work wonderfully in my Stanwells. I recently bought some Stanwell inserts, but I prefer these Vauen adapters by far.

Works!
Works great for the times I don't want a filter or for those that choose to never filter. It fits my Vauen "Duke" perfect but is tight fit with my Vauen "Mirage" but still works. Worth having when you make your purchase.

Good alternative
I have pipe from several companies including Vauen. I like the filters that Vauen uses, but sometimes I just don't want to smoke with one. This adapter works just fine. Solid purchase. Worth the money to me.
