Quiet Nights is not one of those night time tobacco blends that are so strong it will instantly put you out of commission. Instead this tobacco is a lovely symphony of components that make is a flavorful Balkan. The strength and flavor are kept in check. We suggest you order a tin for now, and a couple for a few years down the road--this is an incredible blend to age.

G. L. Pease knows what they're doing!
This is an outstanding pipe tobacco. It is pleasant and flavorful, and has a pleasing room note. Sometimes, I'll smoke a couple of bowls in a single sitting because it is so good. There is no bite to it. It is absolutely a favorite of mine and I highly recommend it.

GL Pease Quiet Nights
I was really excited to finally get this tin. I had read and seen a lot of good things about this blend. However, I was sadly disappointed! The flavors on the pallet are lac luster and I experienced a bit of bite as well. I am going to cellar this one and see if it improved with age.

A new style for me.
I was fortunate enough to get this as one of my mystery tins with my first order. As I'm a new smoker this was a new style and it is wonderful to my palate. My inexperienced palate moving up from "drugstore" brands and styles. I find it to be pleasant and well smoking without much effort or resistance. In the future I might give it 5 stars but I need more experience first. ;>)

I love the way this is cut. A new mainstay for me.
Wonderful, interesting Blend that bridges the gap between a pure Virginia and English tobacco elements. Burns slowly, smoky, complex, Virginia sweetness, moderate strength, with multiple flavors and aromas. I love the way this is cut. Smoked in a large bowl, it allows you time to identify the individual tobaccos used. A new mainstay for me. Pipe Used: Soren Danish freehand clear grain Age When Smoked: 7 months

Quiet Nights
I love this blend, if you like Balkan's like SPC Plum Pudding, this is a must try. Really like the aroma, taste and room note, my wife likes Aro's more but she doesn't mind the room note, though I do smoke outside most of the time, or in man cave. I would recommend.

My favorite by far
This tobacco has everything you'll be looking for, nice bold smoke, cool burn, great aroma. GL Pease hit the spot on naming it, Quiet Nights is the perfect name, it really calms you, makes you think. Enjoy it while reading or having a nice scotch!

Desert Island Pick
Terrific Balkan/English. Tin note is hardwood char, amber resin, and incense. Well-behaved, with a rich mouth feel and no bite. Spice, smoked nuts, and baked dates--it's all here. Equal parts temple, Danish tavern, and patisserie. Surprising and satisfying peppery plum chutney finish. Room note is dead-center between a sailor's sweet comfort and a London parlor. This is a good tobacco. Are you smoking only aromatics, but have been curious about Balkans and Englishes? This blend is a lovely introduction. New to pipe smoking? Quiet Nights is a good way to find out why people want to smoke pipes in the first place.
