This new mixture from BriarWorks pipe tobacco stands in contrast to the robust unsweetened version. Sweet Tea is a pipe tobacco mixture that has been heavily sweetened, just like how you expect to find a glass of tea down in the south. It is made up of a mixture of Black Cavendish, Orientals and Virginia tobacco.

I was looking forward to trying this tobacco because the sweet tea flavor seemed like a smooth and sweet smoke. But it was the opposite. Very little sweet tea flavor and very hash. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch or what but it was almost too harsh for me to smoke. It’s now my last resort tobacco. Definitely not going to be buying this again.
It helps I am both a pipe and tea fanatic when I say this is one of the most consistently enjoyable tobacco's that I have used. The taste of tea is unmistakable in this product without being so intense as to block out the natural tobacco flavors. It burns well with a clean yet heavy smoke you can really feel, very satisfying.
A good smooth all day smoke.
I got a new Molina and the sweet tea to go with it. Consistently smoked it is sweet and mild with a good room note. I like to be consistently smoking. And this is good for that. It’s not overpowering to have to set it down and not too mild to leave me less than satisfied. Good for the daily like I said mild and sweet.
Mellow with a hint of sweet tea.
Well since I love sweet tea I had to try this. Good smooth smoke and it really does taste like tea. Perfect for an ice cold glass of sweet tea.
I really enjoyed smoking this. It was a nice smooth smoke. My wife definitely liked the aroma.
Very light and smooth. I really enjoy it in the morning and evening when I have time to relax.
This blend IS mild, smooth, sweet and pleasant. The aroma is particularly nice. There is little, if any bite, IF you don't smoke it too aggressively. But the taste is a bit bland. Not bad, just a little lacking somehow. A bit humdrum or average, maybe. This is worth a try, because everyone's taste varies. You might love it. But for me it's just okay. And I haven't tried Briarworks' other blends, yet, so I can only speak for this one. However, the little jar it comes in is really great. Definitely a keeper for storage! Careful, though, the jar is real glass. Handle carefully!
