Pirate kake
Reedy undertone, smooth, light tobacco

It's ok
This one is ok as my wife didn't like the smell of this one but I'll just keep smoking it while she's not around me LOL

Don't like Oriental in my tobacco
Might have been good if they wou have left out the nasty Oriental. Absolutely hate that disgusting flavor the Oriental has. Ruins alot of tobacco. Won't buy anything with oriental again. Yuck.

Looks good, smells good...
And it is a nicely done cake. Once the smoking began, no flavor. Empty feeling with each puff. Others like it, too weak for me.

Pirate
This blend is amazing as when you pop the tin it smells like setting around a camp fire. The kake rubs out perfectly and packs nicely. The spice is on point but not overwhelming. Trust me if you like camping and a little spice then go pirate kake.

Cake
The other reviews describe it well. But you might be asking; when should I smoke it? Well, it really depends on where you are.

If you like Latakia, then this should satisfy you. Rich and Smokey with a creamy finish. One of my favorite new tobacco’s to try

C&D Pirate Kake
Hearth and Home 10 to Midnight was out of stock, so I decided to give Pirate Kake a try. I am very glad I did. It is more expensive, by about $15-20 a pound, but worth it. If you have tried and liked 10 to Midnight, you will love Pirate Kake. I cannot imagine a more mellow Latakia dominated blend. Highly recommended. A hack I do with cake when loading the bowl is use a good ribbon cut as the first pinch. I use English Oriental very lightly packed. Then load intact chunks of cake and surround the chunks with the crumbles and powder. Works well.
