The advantages to smoking a clay pipe are that they are inexpensive, very stylish, and incredibly lightweight. This rather minimalist pipe has a straight body and smooth finish, all leading up to a cutty shaped bowl. Cink on the link below to see a custom 360 degree view of this special pipe.

This is my first clay pipe. Smoking my favorite aromatic tobacco out of it straight out of the box stained the exterior of the bowl. It appears the oils and moisture of the tobacco soaked through. The exterior of the bowl was moist to the touch while smoking as well. This pipe is not glazed which I do not know if that is intentional or not. Either way, it stains and condensates easily. The pipe did smoke fairly well, though the hole through the stem is much larger than a normal pipe which made taking consistent draws difficult and I had to relight more than normal.
This one is my favorite out of all the pipes I own because I never have to worry about cleaning it or the moisture of the tobacco being too much to smoke because no matter how moist the tobacco is the pipe will absorb it all as you smoke and essentially self clean itself. I highly recommend it!
This is a good short churchwarden pipe. The small bowl is ample for a short smoke. Smokes cool and clean.
Great pipe to try different tobacco flavors or just to sit back and enjoy your favorite one.
This is an excellent pipe not only for just smoking and relaxing, but also for your living history persona. The smoke is very dry, cool, and smooth. You also don''t need to clean these pipes as they just absorb all the moisture and particles. If you still feel t he need to clean them, put them on a fire. The only downside to these pipes is how fragile they are, so be careful!
