I wasn't just real impressed with the Mac Baren 7 Seas Black Blend. It had no tongue bite, so that was a plus, but there was not much flavor coming through.

I had high hopes but this was another Mac Baren let down. The initial smell was mouth-watering & wonderful, but the smoke was wholly underwhelming. I tried it wet, dry, half lit, burned to a crisp, hard puffed, slow smoked, tight packed, loose packed, in cheap cobs & expensive Savinellis yet no matter what I tried I couldn't get anything more than a tongue coating and a bite with about as much flavor as I'd expect from a bag of discount tobacco from a gas station.

I struck it rich in the seven seas when I found this treasure. Rich dark tobacco smokes great, smells great, tastes great!! What more can you say. Excellent product. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.☘

I love it. Cool smoke and nice aroma. Five-star taste. Will definitely be getting more of this. Probably get 8 oz or pound.

Disappointing All Around
Of the dozens of tobaccos I've smoked over the years, this one is barely average. Came very wet in the 3.5 oz tin, took some drying. Hard to light, once lit it smokes too hot. Tongue bite is a 3 of 5. The flavor is nearly non-existent, only a mild flavoring of tobacco. I've taken to mixing it with Sutliff D40 Vanilla to give it a little life, but in the end, it's just a waste of D40.
