Smokey BBQ Goodness
I must say, it's a rather noteworthy tobacco. ? It arrived dark and ready rubbed. Even through the bag, I noticed a pleasant hickory smell. I packed a bowl.. The draw was decent, slightly stronger than average. A gave it a gentle pull... No unpleasant aftertaste... The smell of hickory filled the air. NOT LATAKIA, NOT PERIQUE, but HICKORY. "Well hickory, dickory dock! ? I think I found a smokey flavor that I actually LIKE!" I could swear I smelled a hint of bacon. "This is actually really good!" Having previously purchased several English varieties (with their Latakia and Perique blends... I still have nightmares), I was hesitant to even TRY this tobacco, but it's not like that AT ALL. It's FANTASTIC! I'm not sure what you would BLEND this with (if you say Latakia and Perique, I will die right now, and my ghost will HAUNT you until your death), but if you like a good tobacco to smoke after (and before) backyard BBQs, or just as a nice change of pace from your GO-TO blend, give THIS a whirl. Hey, I'm a VIRGINIA guy, but you can only smoke so many sweet lemons before you start looking around for something different (and I call her Hickory... Because she's SMOKIN'.. Just like me (ahem). My wife on the other hand, she don't smoke, and she doesn't appreciate the fact that... Ut oh. I think I hear her calling me. I gotta go)
