Good after breakin
I got this pipe to see how it matched up to my Savinelli. The price point is the same 9mm filter vs 6mm filter. I like the idea of the bigger diameter filter that this pipe has. I order this and a box of Peterson filters and started the break-in. I am not sure what they line the bowl with to assist with breaking it in, but it was a sticky mess if you weren't careful. It also had a slightly bitter taste so until it was burnt away and replaced with the start of the cake I smoked cheap cherry cavendish in it. One other issue I have is with the replacement Peterson filters, the stem doesn't fully seat to the pipe, there is a 1/16 of an inch gap. now all said this pipe smokes really well and is a nice addition to my very small collection. It travels with me, it's my "on the go" go-to pipe. And to be honest its has become my daily pipe as it smokes just as well as all my others.
