    Good morning

Posted by Dane on 5th Nov 2020

At first, I was put off because the tin note reminded me of a can of skoal, but after allowing a flake to air dry for about 10 minutes I folded and stuffed and we were off. I've been told there is an anise topping, but it wasn't noticeable for me. Definitely a flake I will keep on hand for my morning coffee, really good pick me up in the morning.

    Peterson Irish Flake

Really good tobacco. One of my favorites. Full-flavored. Strong tobacco without being bitter. I've been smoking it for a long time - and I will continue to do so.

    Peterson Irish Flake Pipe Tobacco

This pipe tobacco is my personal favorite as a daily smoke, strength is excellent strong just like I like it, room note is also excellent and flavor just like I like it.
Tobacopipes.com is an excellent site for ordering this and other tobaccos. I enjoy the fact that there are plenty of tobaccos to choose from and selection is awesome.

    The flake of the Irish

Posted by Frank on 22nd May 2018

This flake is truly a good quality in making. It's a pure Virginia of the art in pipe tobacco making. It's for sure the liking for the matured pipe smoker. In my opinion, you need to be ready for a serious relaxing evening to enjoy this tobacco. It's not an all-day smoke. Its rich in nicotine yet very flavorful for an after dinner smoke. Again, that's my opinion.

    Very strong but very smooth

Posted by Unknown on 2nd Mar 2018

This tobacco is very strong to be sure. It's got a right kick! But the flavor is exceptional, and it smokes very, smooth. I was shocked by how smooth it was considering how strong it is. Also, I found the room note to be very enjoyable. This is going to be my main tobacco for a while I think.

    Nice and Strong!

Posted by James on 22nd Feb 2018

I love strong tobaccos and this one is that, and it tastes great. I have tried many of the flake tobaccos on the market and find them overall not to my liking, but this is a personal choice, I tend to favor Burley and this is an excellent choice for that. If you like strong, full smoke then give it a try. Peterson also has the "University Flake" which I found interesting and strong also.

    My all time fav

Although I often dabble in the heresy of aromatics this is just excellent in everyway!
