New favorite
This pipe is outstanding! I believe I have a new favorite. I just got this pipe today. Couldn't wait to light it, so smoking part first. Very smooth and cool. I really like that this pipe, and my other Rattray's for that matter, didn't really need a break-in period. Don't get me wrong. I know it will only get better, but first impressions make this pipe special. The bowl is quite substantial. With the longer stem, it really isn't one to get careless with. That is one of the features I love the most. The result is a cool pipe, no matter what you put in it. The briar is immaculate! I believe I could sort through a bin of these and not find a nicer piece of wood. As with my other Rattray's, fit and finish are top notch. Love it!
