Master tobacconist, Rudiger L. Will, grew up around tobacco and spent much of his life studying it all over the world. Growing up in Buende, Germany, Will is a long-term and highly respected member of the tobacco community. His father was the co-owner of a tobacco and cigar factory, and Will played in that factory as a child. This allowed him to have an early education in tobacco and its properties. He learned about the differences and similarities between the various leaves, earning valuable and practical training before finishing school.
After school, Will spent three years traveling, learning more about the cultivation of the tobacco plants throughout the world. His training took him to many locations, especially in the United States, where he would visit locations in the Carolinas, Georgia, and other tobacco-rich sections of the country.
After nearly thirty years working in the tobacco industry, Will helped develop the Reiner line of pipe tobacco. The first blend was Reiner Professional in 1990. It was practically an instant success, and the rest is history.
We offer you five different Reiner blends, and each one is special in its own way. Will created them all to be high quality tobaccos, and he certainly succeeded at that. They all earned high marks, with pleasant room notes, excellent aromas, and satisfying flavors. Having a Reiner tobacco in your smoking pipe will show others you know good tobacco and want the best.
